Sally Field Said About Mrs. Doubtfire Costar Robin Williams “He Should Be Growing Old Like Me”

Sally Field hates that she can not see Robin Williams here anymore.

A veteran Hollywood actress named Sally Margaret who is popularly known for her notable performance on screen and stage.

76-year-old Sally won several accolades for her incredible work during her career including two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmys, two Golden Globes, two British Academy Film Awards, and a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the year 2014.

Field has done many outstanding movies including 80 for Brady, Mrs. Doubtfire, Forest Gump, The Flying Nun, Eye for an Eye, Norma Rae, The Amazing Spiderman, Spoiler Alert, Sybil, and Places in the Heart.

She also received the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) Lifetime Achievement Award recently.

On the Red Carpet Live Show, Sally shared with PEOPLE Magazine that she always misses her former costar, the late Robbin Williams and wished that he should not have been dead and grown old just like her.

“What you think about immediately is Robin. There isn’t a moment of it that’s not filled with my love and joy at being in his presence. I mean, Robin was Robin. He was everything he seemed to be: a generous, loving, sweet, geniously talented man,” she told.

“We all miss him. He should be growing old like me, for God’s sakes. I hate it that he isn’t here.”

In the year 2014, the Dead Poets Society star passed away because of committing suicide.

According to the Daily Mail, “Robin, aged 63, was found dead inside his home in Paradise Cay, California on August 11, 2014, with the final autopsy report concluding that his death was a suicide resulting from asphyxia due to hanging,”

The duo played exes in Mrs. Doubtfire, in which Pierce Brosnan, Lisa Jakub, Matthew Lawrence, Harvey Fierstein, and Mara Wilson also appeared.

In 2018, in one of her interviews with Lisa Wilkinson Sally revealed that Williams always pissed at her because she used to not laugh at his jokes no matter how much funny his jokes were.

“What drove him absolutely crazy is that he could never make me laugh. He would never break me up.”

The award-winning actress told about Robin, “He had endless energy. And he’d want to do take after take after take because every take he would want to do something different. “
